Is anyone but me anticipating the new windows 7 tomorrow? When I bought my laptop years ago Vista was the new thing. I like learning new things and actually constantly try to force new things upon myself so as to not get a lazy brain. Ha, I don’t know how well my theory works but my brain is well exercised anyway. So all that to say I didn’t mind Vista. However I hear that Windows 7 is supposed to be wonderful. When we got new desktop pcs recently they came with a free upgrade, however the kit has not yet arrived. So as I patiently wait for mine I would love to hear from someone who has it or is installing it on the release day Thursday. Any problems or tips? I will still have Vista on my laptop unless I like Windows 7 enough to pay for it on that one. Or until I get a new laptop.
My husband installed Windows 7 a little over a week ago on his laptop. He likes it so far. The biggest thing that he’s noticed at this point is that start up is soooo much faster than it was with Vista. There are many other cool media features that I want to check out, but he’s having too much fun that he doesn’t want to share. We were suppose to have a Windows 7 launch party (thus having Windows 7 prior to the release date), but I’m sick and so are most of the people that were coming over to check it out. 🙁
