I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.
John 12:24 (New International Version)
When we were at my daughter’s house the other day we were cleaning out her garden and this was found. Now if this squash had been brought in and eaten it would have been good. But instead it died and the seeds in it sprouted, those are all new squash plant sprouts! Can you imagine how many squashes this could produce?
How much more fruitful can we be than a squash plant? If we will just die to our own flesh, our own causes, our own desires, if we can just let go of our own agendas and pick up HIS then we will in turn produce much fruit!

Penny,
Such a great reminder. This is something I am currently dealing with “dying to flesh”. It is so hard. I have to remind myself daily that it’s not about Him; it’s all for His Glory! Thanks for this Penny!
