I think this is the last one of the season unless someone surprises me. On a farm this size that can happen. Isnt this a cute little girl? I have been working on a book called A Foal is Born, I guess I have plenty of pics and need to get it done. It is part of a series called “Eww Gross Science Lessons” so yes there will be gross details. It is geared for 8-12 yr olds but will be interesting enough for all, and if you know nothing about horses it will definitely intrigue you even if you are an adult. Now that we are done mare watching I will get it done.
Here she is, her momma is named Sunshine and she will probably be named Sugarbug.

How sweet! 🙂 I’m looking forward to the book. One of my daughters has a horse they are raising (it’s a year old now), with a goal to eventually building a breeding biz. Sounds like the book would be great for their kids (half of my adorable grandkids. 🙂 )
