For today’s Tackle It Tuesday we are doing windows. I have Homemaker Hannah on the job. There are, count them 17 windows in our downstairs area. That is counting double units or french doors as 1 window. So it really amounts to much more. This is how she does it.
- mix your cleaner in a small bucket, she uses dish soap and a lemon ammonia cleaner, Hannah is serious about clean
- completely wipe down frames and window sills with soapy rag
- for the windows, she starts with a sponge/squeegee car window cleaner
- soap it up and squeegee it off
- wipe around corners and edges with barely damp rag
- then, this is the amazing part, she gets in the nooks and crannies with a q-tip
And uh, no she is not for hire 🙂
Raise Them Up says
I have a squeegee on a long pole that I LOVE for doing my windows. The outside ones are just so high, and I hate lugging a ladder around!
