Snow in March is unusual in TN, so I thought I would show y’all a few interesting pics. When I went to bed last night it was raining ice with some snow mixed in. When I woke up this morning this is what I saw. I measured it not too far outside the back door and it was 8 inches, so who knows out away from the buildings.
Boy were my horses and cows fussy!
More snow than I have ever seen since we moved to TN in ’93. This is the second time this year I have said that.
We even got icicles!
Sattellite internet does not work like this.
That weird glowy looking thing is the power line to our house coated with ice. Scary looking, huh?
Our power has flickered several times but is still on, amazing.
These are bird food prints on my front porch. there is a small bird building a nest INSIDE the bird feeder that hangs on the porch. Business as usual for her.
The early morning view from my front porch. I will be writing about this and the bird building the nest and how it all relates to motherhood in my Front Porch Fellowship E-zine on Tuesday. You can subscribe for free, look for the subscription box in the right column where it says “subscribe free”.
This was Mercy’s request, she asked me to take picture of her swing.

I grew up in your area (now far removed). I love the photos especially the lil birdie tracks making a heartlike shape.

How cool was today!? Wasn’t it so neat to wake up to all that snow? I heard y’all got more than we did, but it was enough for sledding,:-)
Blessings,
Karen in McMinnville:-D
