For my Menu Plan Monday post, this March 2
Well, just when we thought it was safe to go outside we got blasted with a huge snowstorm. My friend Denese forewarned me with a weather advisory warning and told me to be sure to have my bread and milk. I asked her if having flour and a cow would do and she assured me it would so we survived. 
Tonight we had the most wonderful Mexican soup, born out of necessity because we had chili started but no tomato sauce. I intend to duplicate it later in the week. And… cheese is on sale, so we will be eating cheesy this week.
Monday- cheesy potato and bacon soup
Tuesday- chicken and rice, mexican style
Wednesday- mexican beans and cheesy rice casserole with guacamole and sour cream
Thursday- taco soup
Friday – chicken and dumplins
Saturday- pork burritos
Sunday – probably chili
this is my plan but maybe not exactly in this order

I got my fill of snowstorms from living in Maine. We would have snow till April, 3 storms in a week, UGH! Thank goodness I worked for AAA. The wrecker drivers would pick us up and drop us off at the center.
