Well next week the calendar will say it is summer, but all of a sudden we are having Spring rains. I love thunderstorms and other than the mud from living on a farm it is great. What does this time of year mean to you? To us it means, rodeos, gardening, outside fun, family fellowship. And of course mowing, you can literally watch the grass grow in TN when it rains.
It also means daylilies! and About every other bloom you can think of, like waves rolling in, there is something new all the time. I would love it if you helped me choose a scripture to go with this picture. I used to have a regular thing here with a photo and a scripture each week, and I thought I would take suggestions for this one. There is a sad story that went with, I started taking pictures when I saw this butterfly sitting on the lily, and continued taking them as I got closer and closer, I really thought it would fly away. It remained and almost acted like it was posing for me, then when I got real close you could see that it’s wing was torn. There is a message here but I not real sure how to share it. Maybe later today.
Well Sunday is Fathers Day, and I will be surrounded by Fathers, mostly the fathers of my grandchildren. My own father passed away long ago, but like the lilies and blooms of springtime, the Lord is faithful to always have something blooming, thus the new fathers, and watching them as they walk in that role. What a blessing life is. God is so good!
and .. your thoughts?
