For the last few months the Lord has been speaking to me on a recurring theme. The gist of it is this, slow down, take your time, smell the roses, enjoy your children, spend your time doing what really matters the most.
First it was a book on living simple.
Then it was 3 grandchildren born in one year, and we know how fast babies change and grow, blink and you miss something.
Then it was a lesson on rebooting.
Then it is a whole book of messages on making our lives count.
Then of course are the scriptures like today’s
I am a go-getter, always have been I don’t compete with others but I compete with myself, constantly. Now in some ways that is good, I have raised children that know the value of hard work and know how to accomplish nearly anything they set their mind too.
I know that I am Super Momma and can do 10 things at once.
But you know what? Just because I can do 10 things at once doesn’t mean I need to. It also doesn’t mean I am supposed to. And it also means that I may be missing the most important one thing at that particular moment because my perspective is so spread out.
So…. this coming year join me on my journey as I reboot, often.
and .. your thoughts?
