Well here ya go, perfect for a snowy day. If you don’t already have a Netflix membership, you can sign up here for a free trial and start watching movies ten minutes later on your computer, or connect it to your TV. You can also choose dvds to get by mail, no shipping charges, no late fees if you want to watch them several times. We usually get ours in our mailbox the next day. They have thousands to choose from and even if you are as picky as I am you will find lots you like. There are reviews so you can get more info, and their descriptions are pretty good anyway. There are tons that are helpful for homeschooling also.
Would love to hear about your movie recommendations 🙂 .
Pride and Prejudice (A&E production only); Friendly Persuasion; Arsenic & Old Lace; Saints & Soldiers; Mr. Smith Goes to Washington; Driving Miss Daisy; Our Mutual Friend; Martin Chuzzlewit; Miss Marple; Sense & Sensibility; Bleak House; Oliver Twist; When Lions Roared (amazing WWII history); Persuasion (1995 version); Northanger Abbey; The Incredibles; Because of Winn-Dixie; My Louisiana Sky (may want to fast forward through a discussion regarding menses).
*sigh* So many movies, so little time.

We love Netflix. We use it for school too. They have lots of documentaries that we use for history.
