That is a phrase we will be hearing a lot. And it is sad when one of our favorite stores goes out of business, but it happens. Keep your eyes open and try to have a little set aside for such events. I once bought enough jeans for all of my children to last 5 years for less than $1 each, I think it was 75 cents if I remember right. Do not buy things you are not going to need, but do plan ahead. I also bought lawn mower blades brand new for 25 cents out of the buggy at the front of Tractor Supply. Keep some extra money in an envelope and watch for such sales. I read yesterday in our local paper that Goody’s will be liquidating everything. Since Goody’s already has really good sales I expect this will really be good. Sad to see them go, but somebody will get some good deals anyway. Also when stores redecorate they tend to have some really great sales. Keep your eyes open. In my world of big families hoarding is just fine. Check in here for more Frugal Friday tips.

The Goody’s store here recently went out of business.
I didn’t need anything, so we never bothered to even stop and look.
But yes, it is always good to keep your eyes open for sales that come along.
