Why am I always afraid to update? Anybody taken the plunge yet? What do you think? I think I will wait to hear some reviews or maybe try it on one of my blogs that I am not using yet.
Share comments if you using the new WordPress 2.7 and tell me what is different.

I’ve upgraded and I’m loving it. There area number of differences on the dashboard but I haven’t found anything I don’t like.

I upgraded on one of my test blogs. I used my plugin, an automatic upgrader. I think others had mixed issues with it. ALWAYS backup your blog before upgrading, btw.
So 2.7 is very, very different. It will take some getting used to, but I really like the new media organization, and the ability to reply to comments from the dashboard.

I downloaded it last night. It has a completely different look that will take a little getting used to. So far, I like it…the dashboard seems better to me, with a list of recent drafts and recent comments right there. I haven’t fooled with it much, but i think everything is customizable…I can move things wherever I want them to be.
I say go for it.

I installed it on 5 different blogs between yesterday and today.
I found the new lay out frustrating at first but I do like a lot of the new options. Once I got them working. If you have the WordPress Automatic Update plugin installed, you won’t be able to use the automatic plugin installer until you disable it.
Other than that everything went pretty smooth.
