Well, we still have tons of snow, but the roads are mostly passable. One thing about living in a “holler” is that the snow stays longer. And so does the ice. A “hollow” is the place between two hills. Kind of like a small canyon. Old houses were commonly built up next to a hill to keep cool in the summer. Say “hollow” with a southern accent and it becomes “holler”. That is your culture lesson for the week.
I am still on dial up, who knows when the satellite service will be fixed. If it will be fixed. So everything I am doing is in slow motion. I usually turn on the computer and open 15 windows in quick succession and get to whatever I am doing. I like to get a job one. But now I open 1 window and wait 2 minutes before I can open another. By the time I pull up the news page it is old news. It is not productive. UUGGHH.
I really dislike Hughes internet. Their customer service is all outsourced and impossible. Really impossible.
Well more later, as I s…l…o…w…l…y get to it.
So glad you all are OK. 🙂
