My Simple Woman’s Daybook For Today… Dec 22, 2008
good morning dear April!
Outside my Window… Everything is frozen solid, it is 7 degrees.
I am thinking… I need to make my to do list for the week, and declutter some, and thinking that someone needs to check on all of the livestock, and it is too cold for a child to go out without hubby, and they all need their water broken
I am thankful for… my woodstove
From the kitchen… coffee brewing, nothing else yet
From the learning rooms… writing, writing, writing,
I am wearing… jammies
I am reading… Luke
I am hoping… that friends and realtives who come to my house are overcome with the Lord’s love
I am hearing… quiet
I am creating… love and truth in my home I hope
Around the house… things are very quiet, the early morning needs taken care of, woodstove stirred and stocked, coffee made, everyone else still under the warm covers 🙂 hubby headed for the woods to pray
One of my favorite things… my family
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… I haven’t made my list yet, but I need to run errands today, then stay home! Family over Wed afternoon for tamales, hubby’s mom over Thursday for turkey supper, the rest of the week, loving on my children and doing some writing.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you… ever since we moved into this house there have been red cardinals at my bedroom window, sometimes they will dissapear for a month or two but they always come back there will be either a male or female sitting at the window pecking on it, as if asking to come in, while other waits a little ways back. Every time I look in awe, the Lord says I love you. He reminds me that He sends me little things that say I love you.
