Well, the van is ok, the tree was small enough and it is a big van. Other than lots of limbs, most things outside are Ok. The roads are still a mess. The power came back on at 3AM. Of course all kinds of things had been on when it went out, so all kinds of things suddenly came on. And I jolted awake. And couldn’t get back to sleep because there were things that needed doing. One thing that did not fare well was my Hughes satellite dish. I can’t stand satellite internet anyway, but with a repair bill it is even more distasteful. But it is better than 24kbps dial up. Hughes said it will be 3-5 working days before somebody can come out. We will see. At least we should have warmer weather coming in the next few days. Right now it is slushy and gross and messy. This morning it was beautiful. I have tons of pictures, if I can upload them I will share.
I may be slow but I will do what I can to keep up in the next few days.
Sounds like crazy weather! Out here in So Cal its pretty bad too! I had to wear long sleeves this morning cause it was a bit cool and the clouds blocked the sun for a few minutes 😆 Might even rain later in the week (it is tough out here, only the strongest survive). OK, I rubbed it in enough, hope things clear up for you soon and you have a wonderfull Christmass. God Bless!

Hi Again, just read your post about the van. I didn’t realize just how bad the storm was. Hope you didn’t take my comment wrong (sometimes I blurt out junk without thinking), we don’t get much of that kind of weather here. Anyway I will be praying for you and all you family/neighbors and that the weather clears for you soon. Everyone is safe I take it. I do appreciate your Blog!
God Bless and Take Care of all those gifts!

no problem 🙂 we take things as they come around here, we know who is in control. The storms here are actually quite an adventure that my very adventureous family enjoys, as long as no one is getting hurt! Not quite the same as those CA earthquakes I remember, now those were a little more harrowing. Here we have a variety. Snow, ice, wind, tornados. Whew!
