There are some things that just mean comfort. For us it is ice cream. It may be irresponsible to some but for us even when we are down to absolutely no spending money as long as we can still scrape up enough chump change for ice cream, it means everything is OK. Funny huh?

Anyway, this year Georgia has perfected a homemade ice cream recipe that really helps! Since we have fresh milk we can make ice cream for pennies a gallon. So whatever is your family’s comfort activity, or tradition, be it a special food or something you do, don’t give up, just find a way to do it for less. That is my Frugal Friday tip for today!
Ice cream just makes the world a better place – period.
