“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:6-8)
So, who would you be willing to die for? Your family, children, spouse, maybe your parents? How about your co-worker or neighbors? How about your mailman? How about that car salesman who sold you a lemon? How about your third grade teacher who punished you for a wrong you didn’t do? How about the ax murderer in the next state over who was admittedly guilty? Would you give your life instead of his? The love of Jesus is so far outside of our understanding yet just as He gave His life He gives His love freely. You CAN have love to pray for them, if, you are willing to accept it. I will warn you, having His heart is painful, but it is also the most rewarding experience possible on this earth.
