That is what I just explained to my youngest son. He tends to dawdle or invent, he is great at inventing but likes to do it when he is supposed to be dooing something else. I am flexible with homeschooling and like to give room for creativeness, this child is amazing, but I am very firm on the basics. And one of the basics is obedience, they may very well know a way better than mine but they will do it my way first and then explore the alternatives. So, I was just telling him, yes you can do ______ (fill in the blank), but first, do your chores, wash your face, brush your teeth and comb your hair. In other words, Face Your Day before Your Day Faces You, because if you don’t have a plan, you wander and wonder where the day went!
All that to say, we have a very busy day going around here. People going different directions yet needing one another. So they all need to gather together and pitch in and accomplish a lot of different things. We all need to approach every day with a plan, but it can’t be our plan, it must be HIS plan. Just a friendly reminder 🙂 .
and .. your thoughts?
