Today I am thankful for ministry opportunities. This time of year especially there is an opportunity at every corner. We were at Hobby Lobby yesterday and the lady at the fabric counter was having a hard day, not a grouchy day, a hard day. Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite places, I love their coupons, but I imagine it would be a bit tough to work there and have to figure what coupon can be used on what and how and where. Well it was early in the morning but she had already done tons of figuring, and from the sounds of it it hadn’t all been done exactly right. But she was nice. And the customer complaining was rude. Anyway when it was my turn to get my fabric cut I slowed down the pace and waited for her to look at me and then said something to the effect of, it’s ok, you are going to have a great day. Oh. My. Goodness. She looked at me like I had just given her the world! Normally I am in a hurry, but I always try to stop and listen to God’s voice and ask Him if He would have me share something with someone. Glad I got that one, blessed me more than her probably, and she appeared to be pretty blessed. God is good.
