Well how is your fall moving along? It has been beautiful here in middle TN. The colors were incredible this year and just to make sure we got the full effect we took a short trip to the Smoky Mountains to experience every bit of it . The Lord was surely with us as it was the most beautiful week of the year. We stayed in a big cabin with extra family members and had a lovely big kitchen to cook in. Our oldest daughter has always been a great cook but she really outdid herself in that cabin. The huge bag of fresh peppers from our garden gave her some added inspiration. She even spiced up the spaghetti sauce, never had it like that and it was wonderful. I say all that to say even plan your menu when on vacation, it adds to the fun.
This week we have a cold front and a lower grocery budget, but also some birthdays to celebrate, so planning will definitely be needed.

I’m visiting from Organized Junkie’s Menu Plan Monday today.
I just love autumn since my days of living in Portland, Maine. The leaf colors were so beautiful. It was fun to take walks through the neighborhood.
Happy Birthday!
