This is an exerpt from my newest book, Making the Holidays Family-Friendly. The book is written abut I am still completeing the set up. It will be released next week. I will be sure to give you details.
Where you are going to seat everyone is a big consideration and should not be planned at the last minute. All to often little people are placed by themselves off to the side. That might make for more interesting adult conversation but it is anything but family friendly. My children are also some of my favorite people. They are witty, interesting and I love to be in a conversation with them. I also like to be handy to tell the younger ones they should have this or shouldn’t have that, and to help them with whatever they may need. If you have un-segregated table I promise you will have interesting conversation.
So, can you tell one thing I am thankful for? My children!

Love it. Your book sounds interesting. Can’t wait to hear more about it. Children are truly a blessing and too many times they are shoved off to a corner at a “kids” table during the holidays. Thanks for sharing today on TT! -Laurie
