This could also work for Spring Cleaning. Same approach in every room.
- Take a laundry basket and collect all clutter.
- Take down and wash light fixture glass. Clean ceiling fans. Dust light bulbs.
- Remove all curtains, slipcovers, bedcoverings, doilies, or couch blankets. Wash them.
- Remove items from shelves or cupboards, wipe shelves, return items (dusted if needed) and wipe down outside of shelf or cupboards, wipe inside and out of doors.
- Thoroughly dust or wash or wipe all pictures frames and small items and furniture.
- Wipe, dust or wash all window casings, windows, and walls, doors, light switch covers and mirrors.
- If there are counters, sinks or appliances wash them.
- Sweep, vacuum, and or mop all floors even under furniture.
- Replace all removed and washed items.
- Sort through your clutter basket and put everything away.
If you notice we work from the top of the room and go down. Ever vacuum and THEN dust a ceiling fan? You have to vacuum again. If you go through this process one room at a time, it isn’t overwhelming and doesn’t take so long. Almost any job is possible if broken down into bites. Hope this blesses you!
Spring or fall cleaning time is also a good time to touch up paint on trim or baseboards.
This list was my Tackle it Tuesday project for today, I had it in my head and had been meaning to write it down. Lots of the things I write for my daughters I post here too.

What a great tackle list. I have a similar list for the month. It’s more than just a week or a weekend for me:-)
