I just got married and I don’t have an apron yet (gasp!) I have been searching for one but just can’t seem to find a perfect one at the store. I love aprons with an old fashioned look because they make you feel good about what you are doing in the kitchen and pretty at the same time!

I love aprons. They just make you feel like cooking something. I have a lovely plastic one that I bought for Chemistry Lab and an overly frilly one that my mother made for me. Lets just say, I saw the fabric she bought and said, it must have many many ruffles. The downside is, you can’t really cook in an apron with that many ruffles. But Aprons save your clothes! Not just from cooking mishaps, also from the hands of the infant that insists on feeding herself, even though half the food ends up in gooey blobs in her hands. Ah the joys of motherhood.

Oh – an apron! I have one but it just doesn’t fit well and I have been looking for one since…and one that is girly! Having all boys, I need something girly! 😉

I love aprons because they are cute, for my role as a homemaker, and of course to keep my clothing looking nice. 😀

Okay, so I just stumbled upon this. I can’t really come up with anything creative to tell you. I have an apron already – I actually have more than 1. I love aprons but why I’m really entering this is because I can’t seem to finish the blog I’m trying to write at this moment. I can’t seem to stop thinking about all the lousy things that are happening and I want a distraction. I just guess it would be a real treat during an otherwise gloomy and incredibly stressful time to win an apron. But still, I won’t lie and say I NEED the apron. What I need is to find a better way to crawl out of this hole right now. I guess I better get back to that blog 😕

I like aprons because they make you feel pretty in addition to keeping your clothes clean. I only have an ugly gray one my husband got as part of a grilling set. So, I’d love something feminine!

I need an apron more than I love an apron. Mainly I would love an apron pattern. Working on a farm, my clothes are a dirty mess when I get in. A apron would greatly help on that. But.. I guess a pretty indoor apron would be great also because I do love to cook. Well, and eat too. It would help , like a Granny Bib. Lol..
Thanks, I just found your site through the entrecard and really enjoyed the visit. Great job.

I had not used my old white apron in forever, probably since last Christmas. Recently I wore it while cooking all day with my 3rd daughter. I found that it came in so handy. I now where it all the time, but it is so plain and I would love a really pretty one. 😉

thanks for the giveaway! What fun!

I love aprons due to the nostalgia of them. I miss the days when moms wore aprons all day long and cooked three squares a day!
Thanks for such a great giveaway!

I don’t have an apron, so I really would LOVE to win this giveaway. I think I would like it b/c it would keep me from getting grease and food splatters on my clothes. Also, it’s an instant hand towel! Thanks for the chance to win.

Don’t have 5 daughters yet, only 3, but none of them sew ;). But they are the reason I love aprons, they can wipe their fingers on the apron, instead of my dress!

Ohhh, I hope I’m not too late to enter for the apron. I LOVE APRONS! 🙂 I’m a Mom of 5 girls too! Why I love aprons…..well, I have several reasons. One….they remind me of “home and family”. Of days when Mom’s really cooked for their families and stayed home with their children. They are comforting to me on that level. I like the thought of my girls remembering me (when they are grown) in the kitchen with my apron on. Another reason is….They keep ‘messy me’–clean! : ) I’m forever getting stuff all over me. They are very practical. I love the amish apron. It’s so flowy and simple. The regency one is pretty too. I do love the color red, but I think my favorite pattern would be the amish one. Either one are beautiful and would be quite a treat to own.
    Thanks for the chance!

I would love to be entered into this contest! I really have to get into remembering to wear my apron. I also want to get my three daughters interested in sewing and I think an apron would be just the ticket!

I love aprons! I canNOT bake w/o getting flour EVERYWHERE, so aprons are essential for saving my clothes. I’ve also found an apron w/ big pockets works wonderfully to hold the clothespins when I hang the clothes on the line. In fact I just ordered 2 kid-size aprons w/ pockets so my girls can have their own laundry aprons 🙂

    Hi,
I love aprons too. With 6 daughters, we have a lot of use for them, although the youngest hasn’t officially started using them yet. We like to make them and participate in swaps. My older girls hosted an apron swap on their blog this summer. (princessesindisguise.wordpress.com)I’m always looking at fabric with ideas for aprons in mind and searching for new patterns. I’d love to win either one of your prizes. Thanks, Kathy

I love aprons because they make me feel pretty when I’m cooking or doing housework. 🙂 I love looking at all the different aprons ladies in the blogosphere have made for swaps and such. In my opinion, a girl can never have too many aprons!

Aprons are simply so practical! Why dirty a dress each day when I can cover up with a lovely apron and make the dress “last” a few days. Besides, aprons are just so lovely…

Oh, I would love an apron. They are so “girly”. My three year old has started “helping” me in the kitchen, so if I get one, I guess that would mean I need to make her one, too. That’s fine.

I just discovered the lost art of aprons. I am a mommy of 4 and taking care of my mommy. She has told me of her gramma wearing aprons all day. I would love to get a collection of aprons so I can have one clean at all times.

I have always loved living simply and teaching my girls to appreciate and live a wholesome, modest, and pure kind of life. Wearing an apron while doing housework, baking, and homemaking not only makes me feel more connected to living the good life, but it shows my girls this deep connection. I would love to own one of your beautiful aprons. They are so wonderful and I will cherish it always.

Your aprons remind me of the wonderfulness of country life. Where a mama’s first priority is taking care of her family first and that special feeling for the children of being able to find mama in the kitchen when they need to talk, or need a hug or need a lick of the cookie dough batter!!

I don’t have an apron! 🙁 I’ve been looking for one they are relatively hard to find these days. When I was a girl I used to have a short apron that I wore when I helped my mom cook and bake and I used to love that I could wear it over even my sunday best dress and it would keep me clean (ish)!! 🙂 Thank you for the generous giveaway! 😀

Why I would love one of your aprons… first, i am the ONLY female in my family.. Husband, son, and dogs… all male.. so i need a little “pretty” and femine touch to our home. Secondly, I do not work outside the home, and our family motto is: Make it do, or do without. And currently, I am “making do” with an old apron found at a yard sale, not too attractive, but it works.. so it would b a blessing to win one of the beautiful aprons you all make, if I’m not too late.. 🙂 thanks for the genorisity.
