what if … we just gave each other gifts each time the Lord led us too .. without the calendar saying it was gift giving day? what if .. we actually celebrated the birth, life and resurrection of Jesus every day .. not just when the calendar says it is a holiday? what if … we aimed for peace, joy and goodwill all the time? what if we gathered with family and actually loved each other because it is in our hearts not just because it is an obligation?
if we do all that .. then it is real, and yes it is about the King of Kings, the Messiah .. the Savior of all mankind… and that is real every day
but the biggest fault I have with “Christmas” (besides the hype, hurry and stress) is that many folks say it is about Him, then they put Him back on the shelf for 6 months
if it is real in your life then walk it out every day, it doesn’t matter when He was born, celebrate it everyday if you want, but what He is concerned with … is are you born again? because Dec 26 is coming, and the 27th and the 28th and the Christmas high doesn’t last forever ~Â Penny Raine
