The goal as Christian parents isn’t to raise children that will make the parents look good, that will happen but is secondary, the goal is to raise children

that make Jesus look good, to make Him and His ways desirable, to represent Him favorably, and show folks He is worth living for. Does that mean they will never make mistakes? Of course not, but when grounded in Him they will be responsible, they will show repentance and have restoration as the goal. They will put others before themselves, they will be a blessing to other folks. 🙂 and when you get that call and someone says, “I see value in your child, they blessed me today” it makes it all worth it. That is passing down something of worth, and hopefully it continues for generations. ~ Penny Raine
