We were blessed to see this at a special preview, and I must say I LOVED it! This was my favorite part .
Of course there was a lot of humor leading up to this point, but then it got to this, and it summed it all up. And it was wonderful. And I loved it, and I am going to actually pay for tickets to see it again.
Have you ever watched a movie about something you know about? You can always tell if the producer/writer/actors know the subject or not. And it is discouraging when they don’t, irritating even that someone would spend that much time and money to portray something that they don’t care enough about to educate themselves on. Well I am pretty sure all the producers of this do not have the heart of a Mother. Because some are guys. But I am pretty sure they do have a connection with the ones who created that Mother’s heart, because they captured it perfectly.
The movie will make you cry, and laugh, and cry and laugh some more. Motherhood is pretty humorous, but it is also so serious that we need to be reminded to laugh at the funny parts. And it is also so serious and heart wrenching that we need to be reminded that we are not alone. Because we aren’t. And the same God who cares about Momma Eagles cares about us.
Go see the movie. You will be happy you did. And you won’t even care if you have popcorn.
