Dear Mommas, did you know that exercise will not only help keep you in shape but will improve your mood, making you a better Momma? Your goal should be 20 minutes a day, but even 10 helps. The best way? Take a walk with your children. Play follow the leader, or do as Simon does, or just sing as you walk. On rainy days march around the house inside, you can sing “I’m in the Lord’s army ๐ . Children love songs with hand motions. and it gets the blood pumping.
Or you can try an at home gym like we have, but that is really best after you have several children old enough to work out with you or at least watch the younger crowd while you work out. We have a couple treadmills and a weight center. Often you can get great deals through local online classifieds and get barely used stuff for great prices. Working out at home keeps us at home mommas with our families ๐ . Remember your children grow up way too fast to neglect them in order to serve yourself. Even if it is a good cause like getting in shape. It is possible to do both.
Exercise works for me this Wednesday, and everyday!
