The Word of God tells us to “enlarge our tents”. In other words don’t get stuck in a rut, try bigger things, things that stretch you and require some faith So with that in mind Chelsey Dear has expanded and enlarged the “At the Well” blogging ministry. Today is the Grand Opening so stop by for a visit, won’t you? Gathering at the Well . It will now be a daily gathering instead of just weekly. Because us gals need a heavenly drink more often than once a week.
Today’s questions are;
When you read the Scripture found in Titus 2: 2-5, how do you see this playing out in your own life?
What are your areas of strength? Of weakness?
If you could set some sort of goal in relation to this Scripture, what would it be?
For me this is really easy to grasp. I am blessed wih 5 daughters and I know that good or bad I am an example to them. What I do they wll do to a point. My views will influence their views. My behavior will influence their behavior. My thoughts will influence their thoughts. How I treat my hubby and my children will influence their future realationships. So it really boils down to just remembering that not only Jesus is watching, but all of my little, and not so little girls aremimicking me.
What an awesome responsibility. And a honor. It is not about me, but rather about honoring Him. He is good and worthy to be praised.
I love how you say, “is not about me, but rather about honoring Him.” That is what it is all about! We are such selfish creatures and we need to remember to do all to the glory of God!
Thanks for the reminder!

Penny, I really enjoyed this post…I think it is so true, that when we are focused on the Lord, it becomes less and less about us….”I must decrease and He must increase”…thanks again for sharing. 🙂
