Interesting how the biblegateway verse for today is…
“ Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.” (James 1:2-3)
Jesus doesn’t waste a trial. Nor does He ever do anything tht isn’t really what is best for us. So while I see trouble coming I also see good coming from it. I see eyes being opened to the NEED for salvation.
Pray for America, pray for the leadershp. Pray that they would become God pleasers instead of man pleasers. Pray for their safety, you can’t please all of the people all of the time and too many promises have been made.
Jesus, bless the people of America with your presence and your love.

Yes, all we need to do is pray. God is calling us closer to his side through our new President.

I think it’s a great gift if you can see your trials and tribulations as blessings, and I always try to do so.
But sometimes I wonder: what if something really bad happens? Like something with my children, God forbid. Would I still be able to think that something good will come out of it?
I’m not at all sure.
And then I start thinking: well it’s easy to accept things when they’re not terribly bad. You’re a fair weather believer!
I want to be able to see the good in bad situations always, but I’m not sure I will be able too…
I struggle with this.

I think God gives usd whatever we need to to see the blessing in trials. I wasn’t sure of this either, then my son was diagnosed with a brain tumor at age 7. God enabled me ver quickly to see the blessings and even the purpose for this happening. After my eyes were open, I had such a peace during that time. I was still scared and I was still sad, but i felt like God was holding my hand right through everything and that made all the difference in the world.
