Well, I stayed up forever, how do you like the new look? I have some more tweaking to do and I am trying to improve the loading time. Did it take too long to load? The header pictures are all from our farm and will change with the seasons. I would love your opinions.

I think its very pretty, but I think the end’s look “capped”, and it takes away, “distracting”.
Sorry.
I hope this new year brings many new friendships, treasures, and outstanding family experirnces. May God bless you and the family and annoint abundtly.

thanks Lisa, what do you mean by the ends capped? I am still working maybe I can change it.

Hi, Penny. I like the new look…you did a great job! I love how the pictures changes when I load a new page. I saw the horses standing by the fence on the first page and the sweet picture of the heart and “Mommy” in the snow when I loaded the comments page. Very nice!
I think Lisa means that the header picture has a “veil” or “film” over the two outside edges of it. As it, the middle section is clear, but the section of the picture above each side bar appears lighter and filmy. Does that make sense?
I hope you get everything fixed to your liking with minimal hassle. I know how much work HTML coding is!

The pages do seem to load faster. I like the new seasonal headers and that they differ from page to page.
The blue background is nice, but with the outer white of the page, that might be what is giving the “capped” feeling Lisa talked about. It encloses things rather than blending out to the edge… hmmmmm, how to put it?
By being a dark edge around the content of your page, it distracts somewhat, rather than keeping attention on the content. As the reader scrolls down, the blue egdes are attention-grabbing. You don’t really want the background to become someone’s focus. Now that you have some basic things in place, you should be able to play around with schemes to see how the eye flows over your page without having to stay up all night.
PS the acceptable HTML tag codes in the comment reply is a very nice addition.

Penny, I like the two photos I’ve seen, so far, at the top of your website pages I’ve been to.
It loaded quickly, for me. (we have DSL)
Will pray all goes as you had hoped it would, as you change your site’s look.
God bless you abundantly, as you seek to glorify Him in all you do, Penny!
