I Am A Christian
I am a Christian before I am a wife.
I am a Christian before I am a mother.
I am a Christian before I am a sister.
I am a Christian before I am a daughter.
I am a Christian before I am a writer.
I am a Christian before I am a listener.
I am a Christian before I am a woman.
I am a Christian before I am a Caucasian.
I am a Christian before I am a Tennessean.
I am a Christian before I am a home school teacher.
I am a Christian before I am a minister.
I am a Christian before I am a friend.
I am a Christian before I am an American.
I am a Christian before I am a brown haired, hazel-eyed person.
I am a Christian before I am an administrator.
And the things I do are motivated by who I am. But before I am anything else I’m a believer in Christ.
“ Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world.”
(1 John 2:15-16)
My choices are motivated by who I am and what I believe in. Do you believe Christ came for all? The rich and the poor, the just and the unjust, the big and the tall, the white and the black? What about the born and the unborn?
I say all of that to say, that the political stance of America has me very concerned. Not necessarily who is running the country. But the behavior of those who claim to be believers. I see the black population of America headed for more slavery than was ever seen prior to the 1860’s. Slavery to something called “pride”. I do not watch TV. I get very limited news online. Good thing, because my spirit was so grieved last week that I could barely sleep. But what I saw after Sunday was an all time low. Very respected African American ministers rejoicing in church because “their man” won.
Their man believes in killing babies. Black babies. In the womb or out of the womb. That is the enemies plan and more than half of America is right there with him. http://www.blackgenocide.org/
Yes I do consider myself an abolitionist. Does anybody even know that word anymore?

That in itself grieves me desperately. But the fact that the supposed body of Christ is that blind grieves me worse than anything I can imagine. It is this prophetic persons opinion that we are spiritually right back in Hitler’s Nazi Camp. I see mass blindness all because of the belief that one persons appearance is better than another’s. I see millions of lives being lost. I see Americans blindly following a movement rather than a Savior. I see deception overtaking. I see an army of young people rising up for a cause that is unjust. Racism isn’t about color, it is about pride and hate. Backwards or forwards it is still the same. Jesus is about love. You can’t have both.
I am reminded of the book of Jeremiah. People appeared to do all the right things. All the religious things. But they weren’t doing the God things. They weren’t standing up for the things God stands up for.
From Jeremiah 2:13
“My people have committed two sins:
They have forsaken me,
the spring of living water,
and have dug their own cisterns,
broken cisterns that cannot hold water.”
We cannot create our own gospel and get away with it. Man-made gospels will not hold water.
Israel was given numerous warnings to repent. Just as there are Jeremiahs in America today. Yet no one is listening. They are too busy rejoicing over their own broken cisterns, deceiving themselves. We will be given more than enough opportunities but will we as a country return to Him? Will we rent fro our wickedness? Will repent from spilling innocent blood? Or will history repeat itself?
From Jeremiah 5:15-18
O house of Israel,” declares the LORD,
“I am bringing a distant nation against you—
an ancient and enduring nation,
a people whose language you do not know,
whose speech you do not understand.
Their quivers are like an open grave;
all of them are mighty warriors.
They will devour your harvests and food,
devour your sons and daughters;
they will devour your flocks and herds,
devour your vines and fig trees.
With the sword they will destroy
the fortified cities in which you trust.
“Yet even in those days,” declares the LORD, “I will not destroy you completely. 19 And when the people ask, ‘Why has the LORD our God done all this to us?’ you will tell them, ‘As you have forsaken me and served foreign gods in your own land, so now you will serve foreigners in a land not your own.’
Remember the Nation of Israel has not been the Nation of Israel forever. What makes us think America can stay America forever?
Pray like never before.
