Here is the wordless wednesday picture, can anybody tell what it is she is doing? I will come back in a bit and fill in the word filled part.
This is Moriah and her okra hedge. We planted okra and nothing came up, we planted again, and still nothing. I figured they were old seeds, so I sent her out and told her, “we have nothing to lose, just pour the rest of the seeds all down the row, cover them up and see what happens”. Then I bought a few okra plants and planted them in another row. Well after lots of diligent watering, these came up, and grew SLOW. But then one day they finally took off, and now long after the rest finished these are not only still giving us 2-3 gallons a day but they are still blooming! Who would have guessed?
Reminds me of 1Corinthians 2:9, I really encourage you to read the whole chapter but verse 9 says;
However, as it is written:“No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him”—
We cannot even begin to understand the depths of His love for us, or what BIG things He wants to do in our lives.
How’s that for a Word Filled Wednesday?
