Once again I get to boast about the benefits of teaching our daughters to keep house. Someone needed to go run errands early this morning, so I took the older girls with me and left the others here with daddy-o. By the time I got back, just after lunch time. Hannah-homemaker had made and served breakfast, they had cleaned up, made and served lunch and cleaned up, cleaned a couple of hidden problem areas, gotten a good bit of schoolwork done, actually had Jacob working on school with a smile on his face, AND done two loads of laundry washed, hung on the line, folded and put away! How does she DO that??? It is well worth the time to teach your daughters how to manage a household.
Way to go! Makes me want to have a daughter to train! 🙂
