Creatively Simple- How to Make a Homemade Turkey Dinner with Fixins

One of my favorite traditions growing up was the Holiday Meal. It always had the same dishes fixed the same ways. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, sweet potatoes and rolls, and always cranberry sauce. And then the desserts. Some things may change a little here and there but these were constant. It just didn’t feel right if those things weren’t there. I still like to cook at home rather than visit a friend’s house just to make sure I get those same dishes fixed the same ways. There is something comforting about it. I finally found a great solution. I finally realized we can and should cook a turkey dinner more often that just a holiday! There is no reason not to have this great dinner at least once a month during the winter. Winter sometimes seems like it drags forever and this monthly celebration sure does make it warmer. A great way to share the time with loved ones. If you have never made a turkey dinner it is easier than you think, come along .. I will show you how it is done. Table of contents * The planning * The menu * Appetizers * The turkey * Mashed potatoes * Gravy * Stuffing * Sweet potatoes * Vegetable side dishes * Homemade Cranberry sauce * Rolls * Desserts * The presentation

This book is twice the size of most of my books, 60 pages. It has very detailed instructions on how to make a turkey. It also has instructions and pictures for side dishes and recipes for pies. There are tons of pictures. There is also menu planning info.

Price: $4.95

Jalapeño poppers are a wonderful treat and a great snack. We make them often as an appetizer. You can easily use other peppers such as banana peppers if you want something not as hot.

We moved from Southern California to Tennessee in the late fall of 1993. It was a wonderful new place except for one thing. We had grown up on Mexican food. Not American style fast food Mexican but authentic, miles from the border California style Mexican food. There was no good Mexican food in Tennessee. So I made it myself. Then I taught my daughters. Then we had more daughters and they learned to cook better than me. And they got better and better. And now that there are plenty of Mexican restaurants in Tennessee, we still can’t find one that tastes as good as our daughters cook. So I followed Georgia around the kitchen with my camera just to get this incredible information for you! This is part of a set of many books, some already released and some I have yet to complete separate from this. Jalapeño poppers are a wonderful treat and a great snack. We make them often as an appetizer. You can easily use other peppers such as banana peppers if you want something not as hot. If you like this book you will probably also like my Creatively Simple – How to make Fiesta Basics – Salsa, Guacamole, Beans and Rice.

They are truly authentic Mexican food. They are best made with real Mexican cheese that can be found in most grocery stores but they are also really good with a Colby/jack. If you have never tried these you are missing out. This will serve 6-10 servings depending on the size of your peppers. If using small peppers serve 2 to a serving.
