Thanks Penny for this awesome recipe! I have been using Tropical Traditions coconut oil for several years now for many things: cooking, moisturizer, acne treatment, deodorant. I just rub in the hands to warm/liquify and start rubbing. I have been using the coconut oil straight as deodorant but now I can make a real deodorant and not feel so weird when I tell people I use coconut oil. I love your recipe and its so easy. I want to try adding som imitation coconut or lemon and see if it works for me as I love those smells.

I recommend this recipe to everyone!

You have great recipe ebooks. I have a just a few but I love them, laundry soap and rag curls. We use them and love them. I print them out and put them in a binder I use for organizing my kitchen and home notes.

Great Job! You are truly a blessing and you have "creative" talents!

cutting curly hair really isn't any different except that it shrinks up a whole lot more than you think it will. So cut a little at a time. And expect it to bounce up. yes the technique here will work just fine. It helps if you apply a leave on conditioner before cutting, makes it easier :) .
