One of the many skills I have taught my daughters is to give haircuts. I have no plans that it be a career move but rather a way to serve their families. As they grow up and marry they won’t need to send their husbands off to a stylist. And as they have families they can keep them looking great without spending a fortune. Cutting a girls haircut is not hard but does take some practice. Join me as I show you the ABC’s of how to give a girl a haircut. First we will do the back, and the sides and then I will show you how to do bangs. This is just a basic long hair in the back and maybe same bangs style. A trim is the same.
This is just one of a series of Creatively Simple “How to” ebooks approx 30 pages with lots of pictures ebook download

Penny, my little one has curls. I am fairly confident with doing her bangs right now and her curls keep things in check in the back. What I am wondering is if you cover cutting curly hair? My sister and mom both have curly hair and have always bemoaned having a good haircut with the curls.

cutting curly hair really isn’t any different except that it shrinks up a whole lot more than you think it will. So cut a little at a time. And expect it to bounce up. yes the technique here will work just fine. It helps if you apply a leave on conditioner before cutting, makes it easier 🙂 .
