This was easy and I love the smell, it is so fresh and not overwhelming to the senses like the store bought. Though I did not have the fels-naptha soap as suggested it came out just the way the instructions say it would. Thank you Penny, Jessica
Thank you so much for putting up the “How to Make Homemade Laundry Soap” on the Homeschool Freebie list a month or two ago. I was a little nervous about making it, because I’ve read of other people gunking up their machines or clothes, but I knew I wanted to try. I was especially thrilled with all the pictures that made it so easy to follow – I knew exactly what everything should look like! I had all the ingredients on hand, and the budget was getting tight, so the timing was perfect. Everything turned out “picture perfect” and I’ve been using the soap for a couple of weeks now. I do find that I still have to use a stain remover for spots, which is fine. 10 gallons of free laundry detergent was a huge blessing! Thank you, Penny. Sandra B.
