From Exodus 20 …… And God spoke all these words:

²“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

³“You shall have no other gods beforeme.

⁴“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. ⁵You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, ⁶but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

And yet most folks truly do have idols, many of them. But the biggest one is usually themselves.

if your life is centered around yourself, you will be left feeling very empty

Man was created to worship the one who created him. Nothing less will satisfy.

Revolution Worship Live CD giveaway

Every morning I have this routine, I wake up, pray, then get up make coffee and get on the treadmill and walk and worship. I recently got this new cd that sure has made things a little more energetic. You know high energy worship music is even better than coffee. Ha ha, bet that surprises some folks huh? True though. Now notice I did NOT say high energy music, I said high energy WORSHIP music. Music has to have a point because it gets into your soul. If it sings about something you wouldn’t do then you shouldn’t be listening to it. Wow, big revelation huh? Seems pretty simple to me. Anyway, back to this new cd, it will get you moving!! And it will also get you in the right frame of mind. And if you listen to it while on the treadmill it will make you go a little further Smile . And if you walk 8-10 miles daily like I do, that is a definite plus!

Fear God and give him Glory

He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.” ~ Revelation 14:7

He is all things, whether we let Him be or not. Why would anyone want to argue with that?
