menu Plan Monday December 17

Well here we go. The weather has been really nice, then a few cold days then really nice again. It always feels like a gamble in TN this time of year, it can be really comfortable and you think maybe we will get away with an easy season then WHAM, an ice storm or something. Keeps us on our toes I guess. Anyway I like to keep the freezer and pantry well stocked for such occasions. Farm families were the original hoarders with good reason. How many turkeys are in your freezer? I think I need a couple more. About the end of February I feel like I can breath again in this respect. Well, have a blessing of a week. Next week is Mexican week.

Monday- chicken and noodles

Tuesday- Italian Pasta bake with homemade sauce and veggie rotini pasta

Wednesday- fajitas made with venison

Thursday- stuffed quesadillas

Friday – more southern chicken and dumplins my favorite

Saturday – venison tacos

menu plan Monday June 7

For my Menu Plan Monday post June 7,

I am adding several new recipes at my recipe site . I am working on new ebooks about making tamales and taquitos. What else would you like?

June is kind of a tough month for me, more on that later, lots of dates on the calendar that bring memories that are sweet but of folks I loved who are no longer here. I know that Jesus is my peace and my strength yet having a tender heart that loves also sometimes hurts. I think He allows us to feel hurts to keep the compassion in us alive.

I am thankful for my family, now onto part of family life… the menu

Monday- gourmet salad with grilled chicken

Tuesday- hamburgers and potato salad

Wednesday- stuffed quesadillas

Thursday- meatloaf and pasta

Friday – taquitos

Saturday – taco salad

Sunday – we have gotten into this routine of a family picnic after church, I am really liking it!

Menu Plan Monday May 10

We are experiencing what is called Blackberry Winter, which is really just a cold snap about the same time as the blackberry vines blooming. So we are having my favorite cold weather meal tonight then with warmer weather tomorrow back onto a normal schedule. I have added several new recipes at my recipe site . Chicken was on sale this past week, can you tell?

menu plan Monday April 5

For my Menu Plan Monday post April 5,

I am adding more of these recipes at my recipe site .

Here we go, we are smack in the middle of birthday row. We have had two and two more to go. I have several new recipes to add to my recipe site as soon as I can get Georgia and I still long enough. And yes I think we will be doing a detailed Georgia’s favorites Mexican “How-to” cookbook soon. I gave away a $75 gift certificate and have more to do. I am bringing back my cookbook specials for the week and more, stay tuned to my front page.

I guess it looks like Mexican week.

Friday – layered fiesta casserole

Saturday – Mule Day, turns our county into Cowboy Town, you have to experience it to know, and probably a cookout
