Right in line with my “get healthy” theme of the last couple years comes this. Hi Protein No Powder , Protein Bars and Smoothies made with real food . The name pretty well sums it up. We all know by now that more protein is a good thing. Not all protein, or only protein, but in most cases more than we have been used to.
But oh my goodness have you ever read the ingredients in powdered protein? Most of it is awful. I personally love arbonne protein, but even as much as I love that, I like to switch up, so I LOVED this book.
It not only has recipes, but how-to lessons. It shares nutritional facts and explains what protein is and why we need it.
Every recipe is gluten free, soy free, corn free, grain free, wheat free, and raw
There are recipes for both bars and smoothies. The ingredients are pretty simple and not hard to come by.
I love being able to move things around in my daily routine and yet still get what I need in the end.
Between this and the the super Ninja blender of all blenders I got back in December, we are all set 🙂 . Now … which protein bar shall we make today?
