I was recently sent this dvd for review and we watched it as a family. I must first say that I believe in miracles, have seen them all my life, including healing and even folks who were no longer breathing coming back to life. But I take the gospel seriously. You have no idea how serious it is until things get really serious and you really need Jesus. With that said, I like parts of this movie. I really liked the “anonymous guy” with his face blurred who went right when God said right and left when God said left. I have seen the Lord work that way before. There were other parts of the movie that I didn’t like so much. I don’t believe God’s gifts are toys for us to play with, and I don’t believe He is a sugar sweet God without the power to judge sin. Ultimately all that comes from Him and is used by Him, will bring Him Glory, not us. So while I did not agree with all of what was shown the movie showing it was pretty good. Make sense? I think that was the whole point, to show different aspects of ministry. So, ha ha, now I bet you really want to see it to know what in the world I am talking about, right??? . The Lord was surely with us as it was the most beautiful week of the year. We stayed in a big cabin with extra family members and had a lovely big kitchen to cook in. Our oldest daughter has always been a great cook but she really outdid herself in that cabin. The huge bag of fresh peppers from our garden gave her some added inspiration. She even spiced up the spaghetti sauce, never had it like that and it was wonderful. I say all that to say even plan your menu when on vacation, it adds to the fun.
