Even at the ripe old age of one week this fawn knows that danger lurks nearby. Yet we often walk through life quite oblivious to it. Men certainly have hidden snares for us. Sin is crouching at the back door constantly. Temptations abound.

There is only one answer. Stay on the path of Jesus. Know His Word and His character and listen to His voice. It is a matter of life and death.

maybe a vacation in Kissimmee

I really love my home and rarely want to leave but every once in awhile i get dreaming about a vacation somewhere else. Today I am looking at Kissimmee Florida. It has been unbearably hot in TN lately and it might not be cooler in Florida but it would be a nice change of pace. I have never been there before but checking it out online looks pretty interesting. There are tons of things to do like amusement parks, shopping, water parks, an Old Town, great restaurants.

If we went for 3 o4 4 days I would like to stay at the Quality Suites Royale Parc Suites that have suites that sleep one to ten guests or maybe a rented vacation home. I think maybe one day we would go to Sea World and another check out the local Old Town and maybe on another check out the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes, but I think I will pass on seeing an alligator though. That does not interest me in the slightest. And maybe the last day just relax in the pool and go somewhere nice to eat. Hmm. We haven’t been on that kind of vacation in … well … a very long time. I can dream, right?

And boy does it feel like it in middle TN. The temps this week are near 100 but at least the humidity is down to 80%. Yes that is bad but it feels better than a few days ago. We have hay to cut so I am afraid to ask for rain.

And we have a very well known missionary coming to our small church tonight and tomorrow evening. Our little church gets warm an a normal summer day much less a 90+ day with an extra hundred people in it. Jesus it is all in your hands . Cover us with clouds and a cool breeze please.
