Baby bottoms should always be soft. And let’s be honest there are enough troubles in this world without having a baby with an uncomfortable bottom. I mean there is world peace to worry about. So how about something that will keep your baby happy and make you smile every time you read the label at the same time. Have you heard of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste ? Does that not make you chuckle every time you read it? Makes you want to try it just because of the name. Unfortunately we have no more babies in this house. I think I would give just about anything for the Lord to bless us again but He is God and knows what is best so I will just be content in that thought. But I do have a beautifully lovely little grand daughter and especially when she is teething her bottom can get sore. Funny analogy huh? Take it from a grandma, it happens and it has to do with the way things are digested. So since I love the name of this product I am anxious to get some for my daughter to try and her sweet little girl. And just like the stuff we use on the cows udder is good for other things as well, I bet this paste would be wonderful for other uses. From what I have heard it has a wonderful scent and is effective and convenient.

In my words, it is how I feel about something according to the influences I choose to surround myself with. Now since I get paid well for my opinions. Note the post preceding and following this one, I thought I would share a bit of how I come to the conclusions that I do. Some might call this a testimony. I used to be a sinner. Complete with a sinful lifestyle. I know all about sinful things even as much as I wish I didn’t. When y’all young people use substitute cuss words I know what you are substituting for. When you say things that many nice Christians wouldn’t understand, well unfortunately I do. When you try to sneak around, it is no new tactic, I did it. And I regret it all. And unfortunately even though I have been completely healed, and forgiven and redeemed, I have a memory. And that my dear friends is where I come from. I now have a new life but I remember the old also. And that is what forms my opinions. Now I live for Christ and spend my days immersed in His words, and meditating on His thoughts. So when I share an opinion, it is greatly influenced by His but also with a bit of, “been there done that, don’t make the same mistakes” wisdom. And I often get persecuted by folks I love. But hey as a dear friend recently said, it is only here that we can experience the joy of persecution. Once we reach the next life, the opportunity for that is gone.

So for the cause of Christ and because I love y’all more than myself I will continue to share my opinion. Even if some folks throw stones. Big ones. Nothing new here. Getting stoned these days has a whole new meaning. And it is better than the past . Love to all.

field trip to Mars? think not

Not all children are blessed to be homeschooled. Not all are blessed to live on a farm and see chickens hatched, and cows milked and get to ride a horse or drive a tractor. And not all children can travel the world or even experience other cultures. That is where field trips come into play. Oscar Mayer, would love to help some children experience fun outside the classroom with their newest promotion, Field Trips For All . Personally I would not appreciate my children being taken to a field trip like the one below, I don’t like the whole alien thing, but then that is why I homeschool. However I do think learning can take place in great ways outside the classroom. This contest will enable children to go places like the San Diego Zoo and the Georgia Aquarium and those are worthwhile trips. And since I love my local community, I will be nominating the third grade class at our local school in Mt Pleasant. Who would you like to see win a field trip? Why?

Anyone 6 years of age or older can nominate a deserving classroom and submit a nomination. From all nominations received, 50 classrooms will be selected to go on an inspiring, educational experience. What a great opportunity.
