My resident artist daughter and I have spent the afternoon watching these lovely Dvd’s and now you can too!
These are great! So simple even I think I can do it, yet not so simple as to bore my already drawing daughter. I loved the angle from which they were filmed I feel like I was literally watching over Kimberly’s shoulder. I also really loved the background music, soothing was the word for it. In a house with lots going on, it was really appreciated and a pleasure to watch. I loved the fact that I won’t have to spend a fortune to get the supplies, in fact we have almost everything needed to do the same projects. On each DVD she teaches how to do the same picture both with pencil drawing and with watercolor. Kimberly is an excellent teacher and gives great instructions. I can’t wait for her next DVD, but until then she also has lessons on the site, I notice she has a lesson on Daffodils right now. These DVD’s are wonderful for homeschoolers or anyone wanting to add art to their life! My Moriah has been inspired to now start a nature journal.

My family would love the lesson on the maple tree! Big fans of Little House books!
Thanks so much for introducing this! I asked my artistic 9 year old to follow along on her daffodil and she did a beautiful job – we’d LOVE to get the snowman dvd to see how to draw better – I think the sugarbush dvd would be perfect for getting a head start on drawing outside things (see what a non-artist I am?) I subscribed to their newsletter and will be drawing more with my children in the next days!!
