our most powerful weapon ~ prayer

Wow what a week it has been. On Monday I was hit with several things, I read an article on human trafficking, and how it is most likely going on in most communities. As I was reading a story about a young girl in the state of Georgia whose parents were prostituting her I felt the Lord speak to me. He said the same is going in in my community. Now I had felt like He was showing me this before but this time it wasn’t a feeling it was a KNOWING. I have seen them, these girls are known as crack w****s . They will exchange the use of their bodies for drugs.

Then there has been all the hullabaloo about the health care plan. Let me tell you folks, it does NOT surprise GOD! In fact He let is happen. And He has a purpose, and a whole lot worse is gonna happen if we don’t start getting some things right.

Then I hear some really childish responses like “buy a gun”. I mean honestly who are ya gonna shoot? It is our right to own firearms and yes I agree with that but you cannot shoot the Healthcare plan. And you had not even think about saying you will harm anyone in office. Let’s get real, you cannot shoot God or Satan.

Then I get some more realizations from the Lord, things I knew were true but you know how we choose to conveniently think maybe they aren’t. Then He slaps us into reality.

So that brings me to the truth of the matter. There is really only one answer. Prayer. Beg for opened eyes in our nation, beg for eyes to be opened in our communities. beg for eyes to be opened in our families. I believe 99.9% of all problems would be solved by folks realizing exactly how much Jesus loves them. That He gave His life for them while they were still in their mess and vomit. That is standing in the gap. That is true love. A love that cannot be explained by words but rather must be experienced. If true believers would spend more time in prayer than they do complaining then things would change. Truly change. They would begin to feel His heart.
