We had a wonderful time celebrating birthdays yesterday. It was our oldest married daughter’s birthday and their daughter, our first grandbaby’s birthday. What a party! We make a really big deal out of birthdays around here. It was more than just a family gathering, it was several families gathering, and we had such fun. When Miss Zoe was oh so politely digging into her first birthday cake there were so many cameras you would have thought she was the daughter of the Queen, which actually she is since that was a fun nickame for our daughter. Jesus was not only present but I saw some healing going on which was a real blessing.
And now we are back to snow, and snow and more snow. So I will be sitting by the woodstove with chocolate coffee and doing some writing. I have some great things coming up.
