I hear what you are saying in this post. I am not only thankful to the Lord, but mostly for the Lord placing me in a family where my mother taught me all those 'home arts', thus my email addy and then blog title. My wonderful mother, Grace, started when I was young and trained me in oh, so many home keeping skills. All the way from how to properly scrub a floor, to many 'crafts' that make the home a homey place. We began telling our sons EARLY to make sure they look at the character of a young lady, not just her looks. Lately, I've even been so bold as to tell our youngest to make sure he finds a young lady like his mother!!! Our older son married a wonderful woman who is content to 'stay at home'. God's way and roles for men and women are certainly best!
