garden time is coming!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Safer® brand. All opinions are 100% mine.

My near 18 year old daughter and I were talking about gardening this morning. She was telling her younger sister how when she was little that she didn’t care too much about the garden and sometimes really didn’t even like it. But she says now she can’t wait for gardening season. My how we increase with wisdom along with age. I too love our vegetable garden. There is something about the warm dirt and watching the plants grow. No wonder God walked with Adam in the garden, it was called the garden of Eden, remember?

We do a pretty big garden and keep things as organic as possible. Yet every year I am tempted at one point or another to use something to kill some sort of critter. This year I have a head start. Before I have even bought my seeds or thought about turning the soil, I have found a great answer to the big problem of pests. My favorite garden supply folks (other than my local Farmers co-op of course) now have the Safer brand’s facebook page and  Safer brand is officially on twitter. So you will know where I will be getting the best info. :)   I need to get some of their wasp spray too and get ahead of that problem too.

  • Gardening… ah. the name is such a delight for me too. I can hardly wait each spring to start digging my fingers in the dirt when its been warmed by the sun that you hardly get to see any of in the winter here. I love watching the plants grow… it’s like you’ve created something extraordinary.

the sad thing is… I don’t think we’ll have one this spring. :( maybe a little one, but not like the big ones we did have.

hope to see lots of photos from your garden this year, and of the helpers you wrote about in your post.

  • Hey Penny,

That sounds really interesting, making a vegetable garden! You know, that might make a good ebook for you!

God Bless You and Your Family!
