oil lamps work for me

Last night we had friends over for supper and of course my daughter the chef made the most incredible chimichangas. And a wonderful cinnamon desert, and fudge. It is like a gourmet restaurant around here. We were having a good ole time, and then some other friends came in and then….. the power flickered 3 times and …. went out. We were without power for hours. But we were prepared, just lit the oil lamps, put one or two in each room where folks were ad went right on visiting. Not only did we go right on visiting but we probably had a better time that if the lights had not gone out. So, what works for me this Wednesday? Oil lamps. And Amazon too because the local stores here (read Walmart) have stopped carrying wicks for the lamps and I just found them on Amazon. Is there anything you can’t find on Amazon?
