Well here we are smack dab in the middle of a busy holiday season. I wanted to take this opportunity to remind you that in January, half of what we did in December won’t even matter. What will matter is all those sweet young children around you. What will matter is how much you loved your family. What will matter is how much personal time you spent with Jesus. The world does not end January first. Remember to not spend money like next year will never come. Remember however that Jesus may tap you on the shoulder at any moment just to tell you he loves you, and He does not want us to run away but rather run to Him.
So with all of that in mind, let’s make a to-do list for the week and make sure Him and His purposes are at the top.
I’m with ya! I’m currently downsizing for 2010 the amount of time I spend doing things He didn’t tell me to do. He and His purposes are at the top of my to do list in 2010. I’m just praying I don’t fill in the blanks like I so often want to do!
