My Simple Woman’s Daybook … December 7, 2009

good morning everyone :)

Outside my Window… it is just starting to get light and it is cold and dreary looking with lots of gray, supposed to rain today

I am thinking… it is Monday and I need a to do list for this busy week

I am thankful for… my cozy home

From the kitchen… coffee

From the learning rooms… lots of spelling going on

I am wearing… swaet pants and a grey thermal shirt

I am reading…  the book of Jeremiah

I am hoping… to have a quiet peaceful week

I am hearing… the woodstove blower

I am creating… more new Creatively Simple ebooks

Around the house… things are very still and very quiet and only me and Jacob are up

One of my favorite things… my dear children

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… lots of prayer and loving on my children, more ebooks, run some errands, pay bills, normal stuff

A picture thought for you….

a reminder in this busy season

Well here we are smack dab in the middle of a busy holiday season. I wanted to take this opportunity to remind you that in January, half of what we did in December won’t even matter. What will matter is all those sweet young children around you. What will matter is how much you loved your family. What will matter is how much personal time you spent with Jesus. The world does not end January first. Remember to not spend money like next year will never come. Remember however that Jesus may tap you on the shoulder at any moment just to tell you he loves you, and He does not want us to run away but rather run to Him.

So with all of that in mind, let’s make a to-do list for the week and make sure Him and His purposes are at the top.
